Winter Wedding Photography, Dunkenhalgh

If you are about to book or are planning a winter wedding you may be thinking a lot about the chance of bad weather, but you should really consider the light. You could get as much rain in July in the UK as you might in December, we are used to it aren’t we, but you will certainly have a lot shorter time available to you in terms of light for fun and wedding photographs, so plan your timetable around it.

The good thing is that wedding photography in low light has a beauty and┬ácharacter all of it’s own. The best wedding photographers will cherish the opportunity to shoot different types of wedding photography, and here in Southport we are blessed with great locations to capture winter wedding photography.

Enquire after a photographers experience with winter wedding photography, not all are as comfortable with it as you would expect. Ask to see examples of the winter wedding pictures they have photographed, and satisfy yourself that there will be no problems for you to worry about.

I spend a lot of my none wedding work using low light photography techniques in my theatre and fashion work and this provides a key strength of mine when heading into the winter wedding photography season.

If you are planning a winter wedding get in touch with me at Fletcherhill Photography for Southport winter wedding photography, I’m happy to help.
